Shopping together, easier to follow. When the group moves to another page, one notice at the top says who brought whom and where, with the mover’s picture, and a shopper who is reading the chat is no longer pulled away: back on the store, they see where the group went and can choose to stay. When a shopper returns to a room, the chat marks the first message sent while they were away. Shoppers can drag the row of faces anywhere on the screen. On a product page, Friendzy’s button now puts the product in the chat, ready to send. Friendzy also follows your store’s language as the shopper moves between its language versions, unless they chose one themselves. Plus fixes: invite links keep your store’s language, messages stay in order when someone writes quickly, and a blank message can no longer be sent. Nothing for you to do.

Shopping together, reworked. When the group moves to another page, everyone’s faces fly across with it and the chat says who moved and to which page, and a shopper in the middle of something is not pulled away. If the host leaves, the room passes to the next guest in line, following who invited whom. A guest shares their screen only after confirming it, and when a share ends everyone stays where they are. Invite links keep the collection they were made on and follow the host to the product, and each guest is welcomed by name and told who invited them and in which shopping style. Guests and new hosts each get a short tour of their own. In Configuration › Customer experience you can choose which shopping styles your store offers and which one a host starts in, and Appearance has a Colourful avatars switch, off by default. Shoppers are now asked for a name rather than given a made-up one, unless you choose made-up names. Shoppers can rate shopping together when they leave, and Metrics shows what they said. On a phone, a swipe up over the chat shows more of the conversation. Plus fixes: a message sent while offline is no longer lost, and everyone in a room wears a clearly different colour from start to finish. You may want to look at the new settings in Customer experience.

Fixes. Dialogs, the shopper tour and sheets dim the store on every theme again, Dawn included. A cart read the network dropped is retried quietly. The Support page’s quick check opens the Guide. A custom style may set only a listed set of properties and loads fonts from Shopify’s CDN only.

You and your team can now try Friendzy on your live store as often as you like, without spending sessions. Anything you open from this admin is a test, and so is the theme editor. You can also turn on test mode for 30 minutes on a device, or add your team’s phones and computers as staff devices, from this browser or with a link or QR code you send a colleague. A small Test tag at the top of Friendzy shows that a session is a test. It is all in Configuration › Testing on your own store, and step 6 of the setup guide walks you through it. Nothing for you to do.
-
At Match store, Friendzy now sits a little under your store’s text size, so it no longer looks oversized beside your shop, and Configuration › Appearance has a new Much smaller step. The A− and A+ buttons have moved from the top of the panel to Friendzy’s settings and the tour, and shoppers can still pinch on a phone to change the size. Nothing for you to do.
-
Our team can now design Friendzy’s look for your store alone, and Configuration › Appearance shows it with a switch to turn it off and on. Friendzy now takes your store’s text size, which you can adjust there too, and shoppers can make it bigger or smaller for themselves. In Shopify’s sidebar, Onboarding is now called Guide, as it is in Friendzy’s own menu, and the app block passes Shopify’s theme check again. Nothing for you to do.

Store adviser history is now kept for 395 days (about 13 months), so your adviser statistics reach back that far, and messages sent through our contact form are kept for 365 days. Our privacy notice says so. Nothing for you to do.
-
Our app’s server logs now go to our log store in the EU (Google Cloud, Frankfurt), where they are kept for 30 days, and the record of which adviser opened a shopper’s details now keeps only IDs. Nothing for you to do.
-
Friendzy no longer puts a signed-in shopper’s name, email or customer number into your store’s pages; it reads the name only after the shopper starts Friendzy or allows it. Our privacy notice now says so and explains our crash reports, and the Romanian guided tours read more naturally. Nothing for you to do.
-
When a store adviser opens a shopper’s details, we now record which adviser and when, by ID only, for 30 days. Nothing for you to do.

Our Data Processing Agreement is now in force. Home asks you once to accept it, together with our Terms.

Store advisors are back for every store. An advisor can now start a session from the adviser console and invite a customer: they host it, under their own name with a staff badge, it is not counted as one of your plan's shopper sessions, and the orders that come out of it are credited to them.

The parts underneath Friendzy are up to date, security fixes included. Nothing in your admin has moved and there is nothing for you to do. For your shoppers on a phone: a press used to answer twice, with a tick in the hand and a sound out loud. Now it is the tick alone, and twice as long, because a short one was easy to miss through a case. Sounds that carry news - somebody joining, a message arriving - are untouched, and your shoppers' own sound switch still turns everything off.

The admin’s own tour was pointing at a page that had moved. Its two steps about setting up sent you to the Onboarding tab to look at something that now sits on Home, and in a shop that has finished setting up they described a panel that is no longer shown anywhere — so they go where setting up actually is, and are left out once you are done. The tour now stops at the Guide’s search box, which it used to walk straight past, and it says four steps rather than five, because four is what it is. The corner button’s advanced panel has the look the rest of Configuration has. For your shoppers: nobody is taken out of a room for looking away any more. A desktop waits five minutes and a phone seven, and the row of faces only says somebody is having connection problems after one minute on a desktop and three on a phone — a phone freezes a tab that is not in front, so a connection that drops there usually means a text message, not a shopper who has gone. And “Show me around”, in a shopper’s own Settings, works the first time it is tapped on a phone, instead of opening the shop page and stopping there.
-
The three shopping styles have names a shopper can hold on to: Tag-along, Together and Apart. What surrounds them got clearer with them — each guest's badge is now the style they are actually in, the host's star turns into a recording light for as long as their screen is being streamed, and in Together, when somebody takes the room to another page, the shopper it happens to is told who brought them there. A guest can swipe Friendzy's own panels to move along the row of styles, and one arriving on an invite now opens on a plain sentence saying they are watching their friend's screen live, in place of an illustration. Friendzy also steps aside for your theme's cart drawer the moment it opens, with nothing for you to configure, and it waits for a far bigger difference in screen size before moving a guest out of Tag-along: two laptops of different sizes now carry on as they were.
-
Setting Friendzy up has moved to the Home page, and once it is done the flight check takes its place there — the two answered the same question on two different tabs, so finishing on one left the other still asking. “Start over” is now “Set up again” and sits in the flight check. Home also tells you who is in a Friendzy room this minute and where the month stands against your plan, in place of the three-point description of what Friendzy is for, which was being read by people who already had it. Configuration and the Guide both have a search box: type what you are looking for and the settings that match appear above the sections, as the settings themselves on Configuration and as the passage that matched in the Guide. Results are ordered by how well they match, not by where they sit on the page. The guide itself has been re-drafted to follow Configuration's five sections in the same order, with a picture of each one. And onboarding's first step now reads your catalogue rather than your homepage to work out what you sell, which is usually right without being asked. Setting up is shorter too: the CSS-selector box, accessibility mode, the sales-measurement card and two explanatory asides have left the steps — both of those settings are still in Configuration, under Customer privacy.
-
Configuration has a search box. Type what you are looking for — “dark”, “checkout”, “avatar” — and the settings that match appear above the sections, as the settings themselves, so you change them where you found them. The sections below do not move and do not filter; clearing the box leaves the page exactly as it was. It looks at everything written on a setting and not only its heading, and it does so in your own language. The panel that said Friendzy works as it is has gone to make room for it.
-
Friendzy speaks Dutch and Italian. The admin follows the language your Shopify admin is in, so a merchant working in Dutch or Italian now reads all of it — setting up, the shopper's guide, Support and this very list — in their own language rather than in English, which brings the admin to seven. {domain} is translated as well, the privacy policy with it, though the English version remains the governing one. And a shopper can now choose Dutch or Italian in Friendzy's own Settings, which brings those to thirteen. Nothing changes for a shop that was already in English.
-
Friendzy no longer asks your shop for its cart every fifteen seconds. It now notices your theme's own cart requests — the ones your shop already makes when somebody adds something — and reads the cart when the answer arrives, which is about nine in ten fewer requests to your storefront from us. A slow timer stays behind it as a safety net for the themes that do something else entirely. Renamed copies of Dawn and Horizon — Avone among them — are now recognised by the theme they were built from rather than by the name the shop gave them, so their cart drawer updates like the original's. And two doors were narrowed on {domain}: a page on another Shopify store can no longer read ours with a visitor's session, and our own admin now sits behind a real sign-in. Nothing a shopper sees has changed.
-
Two corrections to the screen that offers an arriving friend their own browser. It no longer uncovers itself halfway: pressing Join used to let the shop reappear behind the question Instagram then asks about leaving the app, because the darkening belonged to the dialog that had just closed. It is now a cover of its own and stays until the friend is somewhere else or in a room. And if they tell Instagram to go back rather than continue — they want to shop with their friend, just not in another app — Friendzy now opens where they already are, as soon as they touch the page. That turns out to be the only way to know: Instagram’s question is a separate window that the page cannot see at all, so there is nothing to listen for until the shopper does something only a shopper still there can do.
-
The screen that offers an arriving friend their own browser now sits in the middle of the display, where a thumb already is, with a Join button twice the width of “Not now” and taller than it, over a backdrop solid enough that the shop is not seen loading behind the question. None of that reaches an ordinary page: a product page with no invite in its address is exactly as it was. Friendzy also no longer opens inside Instagram’s browser on its own. It used to, a couple of seconds after Join, while the app’s own “you are leaving our app” question was still on screen — so it answered for the shopper, in the browser they were being moved out of. Now it waits. Turning that question down opens Friendzy there instead, which is the sensible reading of it: they want to shop with their friend, just not somewhere else. And “Not now” tries to put them back in the conversation they came from rather than leaving them on a shop they never chose.
-
The screen that offers an arriving friend their own browser, new in 1.35.1, never appeared. It was asked for, but nothing had put it on the page, so an invite opened inside Instagram, Messenger or Facebook went nowhere at all — no screen, and no room either, because on that path it is the screen that joins. It appears now. Invites opened in any other browser were never affected, and nothing else has changed.
-
A friend who taps an invite inside Instagram, Messenger or Facebook now gets one screen first — “A friend invited you to shop together”, and a Join button — and that button opens the room in their own browser, whichever one that is. All three apps open links in a browser of Meta’s own, and on Android 15 and later it cannot see the on-screen keyboard at all: the message box sat behind it while a shopper typed, and nothing on the page could know. That cannot be fixed from inside that browser, so the invite steps out of it instead, which is why the move is a button the friend presses rather than something done to them. Meta shows a confirmation of its own on the way through, and a phone with no default browser asks which one to use — two taps that are not ours. Nowhere else changes: in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Samsung Internet or on any iPhone a guest still lands straight in the room with nothing in between. If the hand-off finds nowhere to go, the room opens where the friend already is, rather than leaving them holding a link that did nothing. Separately, the invite prompt’s first line now says what a friend would get to do — watch the store screen live, or shop together — instead of answering a question about cost that nobody had got as far as asking.
-
What the invite prompt says is now entirely yours. Write your own words and they are the whole of it — the three lines about Friendzy being free, joinable from a phone and private give way, where before they sat under whatever you wrote. The box keeps your line breaks, turns a line starting with “-” into a bullet and one starting with “1.” into a numbered list, and counts down from 600 characters so you know what fits in a dialogue. The “Learn more” link is a checkbox now, for a shop whose own words already say where to read more, and it sits centred at the foot of the prompt. How long a shopper who says no is left alone was a week, written in a sentence you could read and not change; it is a dropdown — every session, hour, day, week, month or year. “Every session” lasts until they close the tab, which suits a demonstration and would be too much on a live store. Two switches are gone: sharing an item for a friend to buy, and the shared project, are simply how Friendzy works now — neither was a question a shop could answer against its own interest, since both end in a second cart on your store, with your pricing and your stock. In a room where carts are not shared, each shopper's card now says how many things are in theirs — the number and nothing else, and not at all for a shopper who turned their own sharing off. “Give every new shopper a picture” now sits under the packs it depends on instead of above them, greyed while none is ticked, and says which to tick. And Friendzy’s message box now lifts above the on-screen keyboard in mobile browsers that do not make room for it themselves.
-
Saved projects have moved out of the settings menu and into the room, behind a button in the corner of the panel where the shopping is actually happening. More than one can be open at once now: when a shopper opens a saved project into a room that already has products on the table, those products become a list of their own instead of sitting loose, and every list on the table is a block that can be joined to another. Tapping a product in that panel opens it over the room — the photographs, the price, the sizes and colours, the description, and a button that adds it to the shopper’s cart — so nobody has to leave the room to remember which of four things was which; “Open the full page” still goes to the product page, and an arrow brings them back. A shopper can change quantities and remove lines in their own cart from the same panel. Only the people a project belongs to can change what is in it, which was not true before: anyone at the table could edit a friend’s opened list. The arrow at the top left now leaves whatever it is in — the room goes to the chat, the chat to the store, a settings page to the page it is listed on — rather than retracing every page visited, which in a room could take six presses. A guest who followed “Open the full page” landed on a page they could not scroll, and no longer does. And a friend watching a shopper’s screen no longer sees the “Add to project” button collect another copy of itself every time the shopper opens Friendzy’s chat and comes back.
-
Two friends who each opened a saved project into the same room can now put the two together. Between every pair there are two buttons: merge one into the other, which keeps it as the project it was, or add them up into a new list holding everything from both. Whoever else owns one of the two is asked first, in a dialogue that says what would happen and what the result would be called, and the join waits for their answer. Projects can be dragged up and down the panel, or dropped on top of one another, and for ten minutes afterwards the result carries an undo. A project in a room now also says whose it is by name - it read “opened by a friend” for everyone, whatever they were called. The panel itself reads better on a small screen: product names wrap over two lines instead of being cut to a single letter, the faint text in a shopper’s own details now meets the contrast standard on dark themes, and the shopping-style cards, the reward card and the page headings were tightened to fit.
-
Friendzy starts again on every storefront. The previous release had the widget tell us which theme your store runs, so that we can answer it with what that theme needs — but browsers refused to send it, because the server had not been told to accept the new header. The request never left the page, so Friendzy did not start at all. It does now, and a check added with the fix fails if the two sides ever disagree about a header again.
-
On Horizon — the theme every new Shopify store starts with — your cart now updates the moment Friendzy adds something to it. It had gone on saying “Your cart is empty” until the shopper reloaded the page, because Friendzy was announcing the addition in a way Horizon never listened for. Friendzy now uses Shopify’s own standard event, so every theme built on that is answered too, not only Horizon. What each theme needs is written down theme by theme instead of guessed at, and a wrong entry can be corrected the same day rather than waiting for a release. The timer under “Ask every shopper” now goes as low as 2 seconds; under 30 it asks before a shopper has finished reading the page, so that end of the range is for recording a demo rather than for a live store.
-
If the server your shop talks to stops answering, a shopping session now moves itself to another one rather than telling the shopper Friendzy cannot connect. Both friends make the same move, in the same order, so they stay together; the room starts again, and the session stays on the new server until the shopper closes the tab. A friend's cart no longer shows every line as 0.00 when its owner has chosen not to share what they spend - the prices are simply not there, which is what the setting always meant. A shopper who walks into a room already under way now sees the project it has settled on, instead of an empty panel until somebody next touches it; that includes the far end of "Continue on another device", and "Open in this room" no longer needs a page refresh. The form for saving a project is drawn as a form again rather than two ovals.
-
The lines Friendzy writes in the chat when something joins or leaves the project are readable now: the shopper's picture sits beside the line rather than above it, the time sits next to it, and the words are the size of everything else in the conversation instead of small and faded. A dashed edge marks them as notes about the project rather than something somebody said. The button on a product page reads “In project” once the product is on the table.
-
Two shoppers in a room now build a project together: either of them adds a product from its page, either can take one away, and each takes their own copy into their own cart when they are ready. Nothing is bought until somebody buys it. On the Growth plan a shopper can save a project and open it again days later, on any device they use Friendzy on, and email themselves a copy. Rooms now last three weeks after they go quiet instead of one, because shopping with someone is rarely one sitting. Friendzy also tells your theme the moment it adds to a cart, so your cart drawer no longer waits to catch up.
-
Friends can see each other's carts, which the two switches always promised and nothing yet delivered - the merchant's switch decides where a shopper starts, and each shopper may narrow it for themselves. The Cart entry in a shopper's Settings has its icon back, along with two older entries whose icons had been rendering as empty squares.
-
Shoppers can narrow what the store shares about their cart, for themselves, in their own Settings. Configuration's Appearance preview now reacts to Shape and style and to Typeface, not only to colours, so the sample shows what the widget will actually look like. The invite prompt's timer is a setting again.
-
Almost every Friendzy setting moved out of the theme editor and into Configuration. Thirty settings across the two app embeds became six: what is left there is what genuinely belongs to a theme - the shape and typeface Friendzy matches, a hand-written corner button, and the wording of the invite prompt. How Friendzy is offered now sits directly under who sees it; the corner button is beside the Ask a friend button; and your colours are beside a preview of the panel a shopper opens. Six settings are gone rather than moved: the starting language follows the page the shopper is on, and the hint text, the preview’s three chat lines and its collection handle were each one language in a panel that could not show you the other eight. Seven boxes of seconds and days are constants now. Configuration itself is five sections now rather than four: what was one long Customer experience panel splits along the question each half answers - how a shopper comes to open Friendzy, and what they find when they do. The theme app extension is one block now, and it has no settings at all: it is the switch that puts Friendzy on your storefront, and it says where everything else is. The last six — the shape and typeface Friendzy matches, a hand-written corner button, and the prompt’s wording — came across with the rest.
-
Configuration is four sections instead of seven. Who sees Friendzy, Your Friendzy button and Shopping together were one decision cut into three, so they sit inside Customer experience now, each under its own heading, and the page reads Customer experience, Rewards, Store advisors, Privacy. The two CSS fields that fit Friendzy around a theme moved with them: neither keeps anything private, and they belong with what a shopper sees. Store advisors can say when they work, set per weekday; outside those hours the same button offers a friend rather than a person who is not there. Go Live stopped taking your word for it - the last setup step checks your storefront and finishes only once Friendzy is running there - and it links to Friendzy Appearance, which the theme editor leaves out of the list when you arrive from the Introduction link. Onboarding ends on that check rather than a health card, Rewards moved out of setup into Configuration where they are set, and the walkthrough dims the store behind it instead of the widget. In the shopper widget: six fixes from a testing pass, and the shopper guide carries one accent colour rather than the theme's grey.
-
Sign in with Shop is not offered for now. The flow itself works, but every customer query is refused until the app is granted Level 1 protected customer data access, and the refusal arrives late - after a shopper has asked for a code, typed it in and come back. Facebook and Google are what the Account screen shows until that access is granted; nothing has been taken out, and Shop returns when it can work. Home's flight check is three lines rather than five: Reward and Shared sessions were amber on every new store, and amber for a store simply being new teaches a merchant that amber means nothing. The reward is still offered in Configuration, where it belongs. In the advisor console, a product in a shopper's cart now links to that product - the address was being built twice over and led nowhere. And Auto-configure for me records that it has finished: it was writing a step the app refused, so the progress was lost and the offer kept coming back. Underneath all of it, Friendzy now runs its own tests, type checks and lint before anything reaches your store.
-
Shoppers are offered the store, not a job title. “Ask a store adviser” is “Ask the store”, and the rest follows it: someone from the store is on their way, and a shopper waits for someone from the store. A one-person shop's owner was never an adviser, and a shopper in need of help should not have to think about who is who. This release also carries the write-up of 1.24.0 and its news, which went out without them. Two more small things a merchant sees: it is spelled advisor throughout, and the two app embeds are numbered so that Friendzy Introduction, the one that has to be on, comes first in the theme editor.
-
Friendzy's app embed is two now. “Friendzy App” is “Friendzy Introduction” - the language, whether there is a Friendzy button in the corner, and how strongly Friendzy suggests itself - and beside it “Friendzy Appearance” holds everything about how it looks: the starting theme and colour scheme, the shape and typeface it takes, your own four colours, and the launch button's corner, its distance from the edges and its own HTML and CSS. It comes with Starter, so the colours are no longer a Growth feature, and the separate “Friendzy Style” embed is folded into it. Because the theme and the colour scheme moved between embeds, they start again at Light and Classic: set them in Friendzy Appearance if you had changed them. A store on the Free plan still gets Friendzy matched to its theme automatically. The panel itself is shorter: the launch button is placed with a corner and one distance instead of four settings, and Suggesting Friendzy is down to Hint only, Hint then prompt, and Prompt. A setting you save in the Friendzy app now reaches storefronts that are already open, rather than waiting for the next page. Elsewhere: Sign in with Shop works and carries its own mark, the invite link is already copied when a desktop host opens the panel, Friendzy's panels close with one flat button, the account page says it is loading, and the admin asks for far less of what it already has.
-
Every dialog Friendzy opened on a storefront - the invite prompt, Exit shopping together - was coming out full width at the foot of the page; they are dialogs again, centred over the page they belong to. The admin has a walkthrough of its own now, the way the storefront widget has one for shoppers. The Friendzy app embed's help text is one short line per setting, with the whole explanation moved into Onboarding, under Complete configuration guide. Announce it is a list of places to put Friendzy rather than a project to finish; Home's button says Onboarding, because that is where it goes; and Auto-configure looks like the one setting that does the work for you. Shopper avatars download lighter.
-
The invite now waits for a shopper to hesitate instead of firing when they add to the cart. By the time they have added it they have decided, and a friend arriving then is as likely to talk them out of it; the moment worth interrupting is the one that otherwise ends in nothing. Invited shoppers can sign in with Shop, above Facebook and Google - it is the account they already have on your store. The app embed panel now shows only the settings that do something, so nineteen of them appear and disappear with the mode. And in Store Colours each of your four colours changes only the thing it is named after: “Messages from others” was also painting the bar at the top of a session and the chat background, and “Your messages” was tinting every panel in the app. A store that has set no colours looks exactly as it did.
-
Friendzy no longer puts a button in the corner of your store - most stores already have a chat button there. Shoppers find it from Ask a friend beside Add to cart, which is on unless you turn it off, and from the invite and the hint; the corner button is a checkbox in your theme editor. The Friendzy button opens shopping with a friend again, and a shopper asks for one of your store advisors from inside a session rather than from a button of its own, so the five-way choice of what the button opens is gone.
-
The store advisor console works on a phone: the conversation is no longer a sliver, and the box you write in sits on its own line above Send at a height you can actually read. Store Colours has a “Use my colours” switch, so you can go back to Friendzy's own schemes without losing the colours you picked.
-
Onboarding asks what Friendzy is for, and the storefront button can open a chat with a store advisor instead of shared shopping: it asks for an advisor straight away, skips the tour, and shows Share link only where you chose. An untouched “Shop together” button then reads “Chat with us”, in the shopper's language. “Auto-configure for me” fills in steps 1 to 5. Configuration is six sections that each say what they are set to, rewards read in plain words, and the theme's CSS fields sit under Privacy → Advanced. The shopper guide page on your store is now brought up to date on every release: edits to it are replaced, and a deleted page is created again. Friendzy also takes its shape from your store now - corners, outlines, shadows and type are read off your own buttons and headings, and on a paid plan the Friendzy Style app embed lets you pick a different one. And Friendzy no longer changes your storefront itself: your page's font, background and button corners are yours again.
-
Friendzy now updates on one schedule: Wednesdays at 03:00 UTC, for up to fifteen minutes. A deploy restarts the app rather than rolling it over, so the admin, the store advisor console and shoppers' sessions go quiet while it happens - and now every one of them says so an hour beforehand, in your own time zone. Shoppers are told only while it is actually happening, and only if their session drops.
-
Nothing changed in the app itself: {domain}’s home page now opens with the promo video in place of the old screenshot, and the Facebook links point at the Friendzy Page.
-
Home opens with a flight check of the five things Friendzy needs, and a News section. Setup's first step reads your theme and takes every category you sell, not one. Configuration is five sections in the order the questions come up, and the guide covers store advisors, the assistant and rollout. A shopper who opens an invite on a phone while their friend is on a desktop now browses the same pages instead of watching a screen too wide to read.
-
The setting for what a store advisor may do with a shopper’s cart is now a permission rather than an instruction: it says how far your staff may go, and each advisor chooses per product anything up to it. An advisor asking for more than you allow is held to your setting, in the shopper’s own browser.
-
A store advisor sending a product can now leave it in the chat, open the buy prompt, or add it to the shopper’s cart and tell them — your choice, in Configuration; the card stays the default. Where a product has several variants the advisor picks one rather than the shop guessing. Store advisors are shown by their initials, the console can be switched between languages, and the replayed storefront in Live view is told which shop it came from so its styles load.
-
The store advisor console now uses the whole window, and Live view is a tab beside the chat rather than a panel, scaled to fit the frame both ways. Show a product takes a product address as well as a search, keeping the variant the link names. Advisors can join the room’s call, with audio and video.
-
Fixes for the store advisor console: an error on joining a room left the message box and the microphone disabled and Live view waiting for a page that was never asked for; an advisor whose console reconnected was shown to the shopper as having lost their connection; and Show a product now says when a storefront is behind its password rather than that it did not answer.
-
The home page reports what is working instead of listing setup steps, and the shopper-guide notice moved to Configuration. The news section takes the newest entry full width with the rest folded under it, and this history is the new section you are reading.
-
Romanian across the shopper widget, the shopper guide and this admin. The home page’s setup card became a flight check that says what is actually working.
-
{domain}, its journal and its privacy notice in French, German, Spanish and Romanian, with a language switch on every page.
-
This admin in French, German and Spanish, following whatever language your Shopify admin is in. Store advisors can watch the page the shopper is looking at.
-
Fixes: the room updates a shopper’s name when they sign in, the console stops offering an anonymous name to someone already signed in, and a credential of nothing but whitespace is no longer treated as one.
-
Store advisors are told a shopper is waiting even when the console is in a background tab. Friendzy’s assistant keeps a shopper company while the store is fetched.
-
Shoppers can ask for a store advisor whether or not one is online; if nobody is on duty, your team is told. Advisors answer from {domain} rather than from the Shopify admin.
-
The advisor’s side panel: who is in the room, the pages it has been through, and a product search to show the shopper. Order history became a permission you switch on rather than something the install asks for.
-
Fix: the room shows who a shopper became when they signed in.
